True. Maybe the idea is that after installation you will go on to
install additional packages for which you *have* to boot to linux.

If by ok you mean, whether it is the latest, it is not. The stable
version is 2.1 (a.k.a. slink). GT Enterprises did not have when I
looked last. I think people were offering cd's to lug's on the list a
week back.

Take a look at slink. The number of packages is 2K+. In fact, if you
want to go through dselect, it will take you a couple of hours to know
about all the packages that are available.
