Mounting NTFS partition
Hi All,
I use a dual boot(Linux+NT WKS 4.0) m/c.
I have NTFS in /dev/hda1 and Linux native(ext2) fs in /dev/hda5. How can
I mount /dev/hda1 from Linux. I was able to mount /dev/hda1 when it was
FAT. I tried with
#mount -t hpfs /dev/hda1 /mnt/ntc
But it failed with the error "mount: /dev/hda1 already mounted or
/mnt/ntc busy". I did a ls -al for /mnt/ntc but it didn't show up
anyfiles. Is it because I have installed Linux on /dev/hda5 which is a
logical partition?
TIA,
Kousik
