Java Applet Never loads (please Help)

I have 8 machines. Linux is as proxy.

When I go to Yahoo Chat in Java mode.
The Java applet shows 
Applet loading ..... and it never comes up.

Even in Yahoo Games I face the problem,
like 
you may be behind proxy etc.
How to solve this problem
