Please note, however, that Slackware 4.0 is *still* not GLIBC based (at a
time when every other distro including Debian, RedHat, SuSE and Caldera have
switched to glibc), so you might want to wait for Slackware 4.1 (which Pat
says *will* be glibc based) before upgrading.
