Yamaha sound card woes

Hi,

This mail is addressed to all the people who have Yamaha sound cards. Do
any of you guys have this peculiar problem that some .au files and mp3
files play at a faster speed than they ought to? This includes the one
with Linus' voice (8k mono .au file, I believe)
