Sounds more like the death-knell of BSD to me.  Now that BSD
proponents are being hired and software rights sold by companies which
have direct vested commercial interests I can see another MS monolith
in the making...

...unless Linux kills the whole thing first, which is more likely
since BSD enthusiasts tend to define their whole existence around the
GPL.
