Is Microsoft going OpenSource? No, you're just supposed to debug it for
Redmond, for free. You're not allowed make modifications. Unix in the 70s/80s
dejavu, anyone?

Regardless of what they do, Redmond is increasingly becoming a footnote.

The true danger are not them but the IP mafia, anyway. You might discover
that open systems could suddenly become fringe, not norm. You'll increasingly
see crypto in displays and processors, which will only play stuff licenced
to you and only you.

Stick a fork into Redmond, they're done. Hollywood is next.
