yes , that is just the way I did, but I got error message:
"Wrong major or minor number", what's this?

I installed lilo by edit the /etc/lilo.conf, but my linux partition hda7 is
not in the first 8G, so lilo didnt work. When boot the system, I got only
"Li", not "Lilo:", then system halted.  Then I created another linux partion
hda2 after the fat32 C:,size=25M. How can I make the hda2 the boot disk of
redhat?  I guess that I should copy the file in /boot(in hda7) into hda2
,and mount hda2 as /boot, is that wright?  But the problem is that I cannot
mount that hda2 partition , I also get "Wrong major or minor number". What
should I do?

HELP!!!
