IT for doctors

Hi.

A small course to familiarise the teaching staff of the Postgraduate
Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh is going to be held
near the end of January. Most of us are either totally unfamiliar with
computers or just about competent to use a few Windows programs at a basic
level. Some of us are a bit better. I know of at least four that run Linux
on their home computers. The course is going to be a very basic one.
However, some professionals are going to give talks in the inaugural
function. We are going to get a manager from a corporate hospital, a guy
from one of the companies specialising in medical systems etc., I was
wondering if there is anybody in or near Chandigarh on this list, who can
possibly give a talk on Open Source Software. Please contact me.

I know this is more appropriate to the LI-Advocacy, but that list seems to
be moribund.

Thanks

Narayana
