unrecognised hardware

Hi everybody,
My linux system boots too slowly due to the following errors:
hdc:not found(status=0xa1):resetting drive
hdd:not found(status-=0xa1):resetting drive
please rectify.i have only a 8gb harddisk with 4gb linux.
