Help regarding JAVA

Hi list

I know that this is not the right place to ask this question, but I am in 
great need of this....

Does anybody know how to make the Swing applets developed using JDK 1.2.2 
run in Browsers... I have failed to run it on Linux (Nestcape) as well as 
WindoZe (IE/NetScape).

Please suggest a way out or the proper Java forum where I can get this 
answered.
