Need Help on Dumb !

Helo All,

I am using RedHat Linux 6.2...in which I wanted to connect Dumb Terminals.
Fol. are the things which I done:

1. Edited the /etc/inittab file and added the fol. line

s0:234:respawn:/sbin/getty ttyS0 vt100 (1st attempt)

S0:123:respwan:/sbin/getty -L 9600 ttyS0 vt100 (2nd attempt)

s0:1234:respawn:/sbin/getty ttyS0 DT9600 vt100 (3rd attempt)

2. Connected my working VXL Dumb terminal(it is working fine with above
config in AIX) to the Com1.

2. Verified the /etc/gettydefs!

3. Ran "init q"

But Iam not able to get login: prompt in my Terminal. Please help me in
solving this problem.
