Setting the Bios Time from bash prompt

I remember there was a command in rh to set the time on the bash prompt so 
that apart from setting the current date and time on the system it also 
updates the bios so that during the next boot up the system take on the 
correctly set date and time.

If any of you remember the command and/or the syntax pls do email.
