The meeting began with the usual introduction by all present after which
i
began speaking about the software RAID capabilities of Linux enumerating
the pros and cons of the various RAID levels.

Anoop then briefed us about GNU/Hurd which he has been using for some
time
now and gave us an insight into the world of "micro" kernel
architecture.

The attendees were briefed on the upcoming Bang!Linux followed by a
quick Q&A session after which we split.

The low turnout was largely attributed to semester exams at both Cochin
University and Model Engg. College.
