Two books that are always useful and most used.
	Unix network programming - stevens
	Advanced unix programming - stevens

For networking concepts you can use
	Computer Network - tanenbaum
	Networks ( don't remember the full title) - leon garcia.

TCP/IP - three volumes by stevens
TCP/IP - cruzon or somebody with a similar name.

Threads - use the documentation of pthreads ( i don't think anything more
is needed)
