RE: XF86Config problems & need a XF86Config file as per my PC specs !
Hi Loki,
The LG 15" surely sucks.
I tried all sorts of permutations / combinations. The screens did improve
but are non functional.
Could you send me your XF86Config file ?
That will help me to get to the root of the problem which is :- when I try
to open up new screens part of the background i.e. the previous screen is
still visible inside the new screens.
Thanks in advance.

The LG 15" sucks. If it can support only 60 Hz at a resolution, then
it was'nt worth mentioning on the carton. (I have the same one :P)
You might be getting funny screens because it's running on a higher
refresh rate than it supports. Try changing the "1024x768" in the
"Screen" section of XF86Config file to "800x600".
PS: RH 7.0 will, probably autodetect your plug-and-play LG monitor and
its frequencies when you run "Xconfigurator". You need to de-select
1024x768 when it asks for the modelines to write.
