Re: lilo Problem



mount the first 1024 cylinder (it would be probably windows)partition in linux,
mount -t msdos /dev/hda1 /dos
Then put the kernel image in it  ie /dos/vmlinuz-2.2.14-12  and change the path of kernel image in lilo.conf and run lilo
It will work.

on it in last 2 GB . Now whenever i try to install
lilo on it i get error that device 0X300 has no. of
cylinders greater than 1024. Is there any solution to
