dns problems

hi,

i am not able to configure dns on rh6.2, i tried to set up dns using
h2n command but was not successful.

i have 2 entries in my /etc/hosts
file

127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain      localhost
80.0.0.1  chetan.com        chetan

the ip address of my machine is 80.0.0.1.

h2n dumps configuration files when invoked as
'h2n -d chetan.com -n 80.0.0.1'
i copied all generated files to /etc, restarted named.
but 'nslookup chetan.com' was not able to find host chetan.com and gave the 
following output

server : localhost.localdomain
address : 0.0.0.0


***localhost could not find chetan.com : nonexistant host/domain.


what could be wrong? please help
