Hi!
I had gone through a similar problem last year ... if i remember
correctly, this was what i did ...

Assuming that you have made a copy of the binary addressbook of OE, you
can import it using a different(and sometimes more standard
compliant) mail client like eudora or netscape. Then try to save it in
ldif format.

Once you get his format, you can use it in Linux. Netscape for linux
imports ldifs directly, for Pine(my favorite) you can use a tool like
ldif2pine, which i think is available in freshmeat.net

If I remeber correclty, the last time i searched there were several small
hacks available on the net, which does similar stuff in fewer steps, but
then you got to look hard for them.
