Hi saravanan,

try news.cis.dfn.de

and it's free. you have to visit the site. give your first name and last
name (better be real, or should appear real).

after a few days, you will receive a mail from 
Sandra Ziglowsky <news-register@xxxxxxxxxx>

giving your login name (based on your last name) and a randomly selected
password.

feed those in your netscape messanger, or other news reader.
it will download entire list of newsgroups available (takes time, but
well, it is a long list). and it is a most usefull and compelte list.

then you can subscribe your favs. it will create a folder for each
newsgroup.

next time when you click on that folder, the newsgroup will open in imap
access, click on a message to download.
