MS registration

hi,

  As per CNK suggestion, I applied for MS (Electronics) this year (from
this year onwards, no GATE/NON-GATE for MS. only dept. interview and
written test).  I have applied under Part-time (Internal) [all anna univ.
staff comes under this category).  Since I am getting salary, i am not
entitled for any scholarship/fellowship. so you can find me roaming around
in MIT campus for the next 2.5 years.  My thesis work will be to develop
efficient OCR algorithms for recognising Printed Tamil Characters.

I know doing MS in anna university is mere waste of time. But anyway i
will be here for the next 1 year since i promised.  so this choice.  CNK
is my supervisor(guide) for the MS thesis and Bina is the
Joint-supervisor.  My actual supervisor is Internet since i am able to
collect lot of information in this subject.

Internet yirukka bayamen?

Note to DSP guys:  I found a very interesting online book under the URL:
www.dspguide.com  Excellent book for Scientist & Engineers.  Kindly go
through that book.  It contains 33 chapters with wonderful and clearly
explained concepts/diagrams.  don't forget to read about the author. it's
a nice story.

Note to Java guys:  Core JAVA Vol. 1 & 2 (sun micro) is released
under Indian Print this week. I think it is around Rs.450/pervol.
