Re: X using S3 Trio3D



I am using a Trident 3D image 9750 AGP card with te TV out. With the Xfree86
version with RH 6.0, the card is listed and uses the SVGA server. Not much
of trouble configuring the card. Probably it is the monitor that is not
compatible as i used to have the problem when i chose NI 1024x7xx at 60 Mhz
and 800x600 at 72 Mhz(my monitor manual says so) ( i am not sure of the
exact string). I chose the option just above the one said above and it
worked.

BTW - a small request, if i remember we could probably have an installation
fest in the coming meeting - i am looking forward for a demo on installing
Debian
