Telnet and FTP trouble

Hi all,

	I'm running RH 6.0. Both Telnet and FTP logins from any remote machine 
takes about five minutes to appear. Once I log into the system they work as 
expected. Any idea why there is an initial delay? I have other unix 
machines on the same network, and I'm able to r-login to any of them 
immdly, so there is no problem with the network...
